Mayor of Ballymena, Cllr. Audrey Wales MBE recently hosted a reception for the Management Committee and Life Members of Ballymena Borough Chamber of Commerce and Industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Mayor said \u201cI am delighted to welcome you all to the Mayor\u2019s parlour this evening. Council has long recognised the contribution that Chamber has made to this Borough. The working relationship between Council and Chamber has never been stronger and this reception is my way to acknowledge and thank Chamber for all their hard work over a long number of years\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

Chamber President Thomas McKillen thanked the Mayor for her kind words and for hosting the reception. He then awarded Life Membership of Chamber to Willie McKean saying \u201cLife Membership is not awarded very often and is only awarded to those who have made a significant contribution to Chamber. Willie served two years as President and also a long number of years as Treasurer. I thank you for your many years of service and I am delighted to present you with your Certificate of Life Membership\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n
