Ballymena Borough Chamber of Commerce and Industry – \u00a0Annual General Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>The Adair Arms Hotel on 2nd\u00a0<\/strong>April.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thomas McKillen, the outgoing President, welcomed everyone along to this year\u2019s Annual General Meeting. He said that it had been a great honour for him to have served two terms as President and looked forward to working with the new Incoming President and Management Committee. Thomas highlighted that Ballymena Chamber of Commerce was one of the most proactive and well-placed Chambers in Northern Ireland. He mentioned the success of Ballymena Chamber of Commerce events last year including its well supported Business Breakfast Seminars, Networking Events, Annual Golf Day and of course the jewel in its crown, the now very successful Ballymena Borough Business Excellence Awards.<\/p>\n

Thomas McKillen announced that Chris Wales had decided to step down as Business Development Manager to focus on other objectives after a long and successful period in the role. He thanked Chris for his hard work and dedication to Ballymena Chamber of Commerce. Thomas was delighted to announce that Chris was awarded Life Membership. Chris Wales spoke to the AGM whereby he thanked everyone for their valued support. He went on to say that he thoroughly enjoyed his time working for Ballymena Borough Chamber of Commerce and Industry and wished Rodney Kernohan every success in his new position as interim Business Development Manager.<\/p>\n

Ballymena Chamber Life Member William McKean was invited to chair the election of officers. Prior to the elections William congratulated the Chamber on a very successful year.<\/p>\n

Ballymena Chamber of Commerce AGM was delighted to nominate and approve its new officers.<\/p>\n
