This funding will support a bespoke programme designed to enable young people from Ballymena and surrounding area to start and grow a business within the creative sector.\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Melanie Christie Boyle, Chief Executive, Ballymena Business Centre.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">Ballymena Business Centre is an award winning local enterprise agency with a proven track record of supporting entrepreneurship and supporting individuals, organisations and social enterprises thinking of starting a business and those in the early stages of business development.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">The <strong>Create 100<\/strong> project will provide 10 young people who have an interest in starting a business within the Creative Industry Sector, the opportunity to start their business in Town Centre Retail Environment and benefit from a bespoke Retail Incubation Programme.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">Alongside this, each participant will become an Enterprise Ambassador inspiring a further 90 post primary students from the Ballymena and surrounding area to consider starting their own business within the creative industry sector.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">\u201c<em>This is the first project of its kind in the Ballymena and surrounding area. The project is designed to enable young people of all social and economic backgrounds to get involved, to help build a better economic future, to be enterprise ambassadors, and actively play their part in the regeneration of our local community and town centre. I have no doubt that this project can inspire others to take up the challenge and will demonstrate how through a partnership approach including private, social and banking support, we can really make a difference and create opportunities for the next generation of entrepreneurs.<\/em>\u201d Melanie Christie Boyle, Chief Executive, Ballymena Business Centre.<\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\">Terry Robb, Head of Ulster Bank North Business Centre, part of RBS welcomed the award:\u00a0<em>&#8220;I am thrilled that the Ballymena Business Centre received this award.
