Ballymena Borough Council\u00a0has\u00a0agreed\u00a0to be the principal sponsor for the 2014\u00a0Ballymena Borough Business Excellence Awards. The awards are organised annually by Ballymena Borough Chamber of Commerce and Industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Announcing the sponsorship deal, Alan Stewart, Chamber President said<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u00a0am\u00a0delighted to announce that Ballymena Borough Council will\u00a0be the principal sponsor for the 2014\u00a0Business Awards. The Council\u00a0was also principal sponsor for the last two years\u00a0and I thank them for their continued support of the awards.<\/em><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve seen growth in interest, attendance and applications for the awards every year since we started, with last year over 400\u00a0people attending the Gala evening. It\u2019s always great to see the mix of businesses at the awards, representing sectors from retail to manufacturing to services. And it allows Ballymena to showcase the best businesses and practices\u00a0to outside bodies perhaps looking to locate new businesses.<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019m glad to say that Chamber has\u00a0had an excellent working relationship with Ballymena Borough Council over many years and I thank them for their continued support, not only of the awards but Chamber in general. I look forward to this business focused approach continuing into the future\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n
