Ballymena Borough Chamber of Commerce & Industry held their last Business to Business Networking Event this week by announcing the winners of their Window Dressing Competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n

President of the Chamber of Commerce Alan Stewart said \u201cWe had an unprecedented number of entries from around the Borough this year, our judges had a very difficult job shortlisting and selecting this year\u2019s winners\u201d.<\/em> Alan went on to thank all those who participated and encouraged everyone to continue to compete in next year\u2019s window dressing events. In his final speech of the year, Alan talked about the difficult trading conditions that still affected most business sectors in our community. He encouraged businesses from across the Borough to pull together and support each other. Alan confirmed that Ballymena Chamber of Commerce would continue to provide valuable assistance to its members by hosting regular networking events and specialised training workshops. He finished by saying \u201call businesses, large and small can benefit from our membership and the regular business services we provide\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Mayor Audrey Wales as commented that \u201cBallymena has one of Northern Ireland\u2019s most pro-active Chamber of Commerce and encouraged any business to consider membership\u201d<\/em>. The Mayor also congratulated Ballymena Chamber of Commerce on hosting another \u201csplendid and very successful Business Awards\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

Before the evening drew to a close, the President of Ballymena Chamber of Commerce presented the NI Hospice with a cheque for \u00a33,200. Alan thanked everyone who attended this year\u2019s Business Awards for their very kind donations.<\/p>\n
