Northern Ireland based fit-out specialist and Chamber member Marcon\u00a0has\u00a0won\u00a0UK Supplier of the Year Award\u00a0from\u00a0global restaurant chain McDonald\u2019s.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Presented at\u00a0the\u00a0McDonald\u2019s\u00a0Annual\u00a0Conference\u00a0in Portugal,\u00a0this\u00a0prestigious accolade\u00a0recognises\u00a0an outstanding contribution to the McDonald\u2019s supply chain.<\/p>\n

The \u201cThree Legged Stool Awards\u201d, which\u00a0acknowledge\u00a0the partnership between the three legs of the stool – franchisees, suppliers and corporate staff, is used by the restaurant\u00a0chain to\u00a0reward\u00a0companies and individuals that have\u00a0excelled in contributing to the success of the McDonald\u2019s brand.\u00a0\u00a0Marcon\u00a0was selected as Supplier of the year from the entire McDonald\u2019s\u00a0procurement\u00a0chain.<\/p>\n

Working with McDonald\u2019s since 2008,\u00a0Marcon\u00a0has completed projects the length and breadth of the UK\u00a0completing over 250\u00a0individual projects\u00a0from Greenock to Southampton and\u00a0Omagh\u00a0to King\u2019s Lynn.<\/p>\n

Due to the exceptional\u00a0standard of project delivery by\u00a0Marcon\u00a0the company hassecured\u00a0future contracts\u00a0with McDonald\u2019s\u00a0up to 2018.<\/p>\n

Securing this contract has allowed\u00a0Marcon\u00a0to employ\u00a0a further\u00a015 people. \u00a0The company has also opened\u00a0a regional\u00a0office in Sheffield to support work from McDonald\u2019s. \u00a0The strategic location of the office will allow the business to continue to expand its client base across a range of sectors.<\/p>\n
