{"id":588,"date":"2012-03-12T21:32:07","date_gmt":"2012-03-12T21:32:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ballymenachamber.co.uk\/?p=588"},"modified":"2012-03-24T12:25:29","modified_gmt":"2012-03-24T12:25:29","slug":"congratulations-to-chamber-members-patton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ballymenachamber.co.uk\/?p=588","title":{"rendered":"Congratulations to Chamber members Patton"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>Congratulations to Chamber members Patton on winning another major award at Allianz Arts &amp; Business NI Awards 2012.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The long-standing partnership between Patton and the Ulster Orchestra was recognised at the glittering A&amp;B Awards held at the Lyric Theatre, Belfast.<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/ballymenachamber.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/PATTON_AWARD1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Patton Award\" src=\"http:\/\/ballymenachamber.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/PATTON_AWARD1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"679\" height=\"510\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h6>L-R: \u00a0Paul McCann, Allianz: Alan Stewart, Patton; Heather Wright, Ulster Orchestra; Declan McGovern; Ulster Orchestra; Lydia Gamble; Ulster Orchestra; Mary Trainor-Nagele; Arts &amp; Business Joanne Stuart, Arts &amp; Business and Bob Collins, Arts Council NI<\/h6>\n<p>The two organisations were presented with the Sustained Partnership Award for continuing to collaborate on innovative, creative outreach projects within the local community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Patton Marketing Manager, Alan Stewart adds:\u00a0<em>\u201cThis particular award is very special because it recognises a partnership between two organisations over a substantial period of time. \u00a0 Initiatives such as the Arts &amp; Business Investment Programme strengthen our relationship with the Ulster Orchestra, fulfilling a major element of our CSR strategy and the commitments that we have set out in our 10 year sustainability initiative \u2013 DNA.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Over the past number of years Patton and the Ulster Orchestra have collaborated on a number of successful community initiatives. \u00a0 These include the \u2018Musical Building Blocks\u2019 project at the Braid, Ballymena; the \u2018Greenhouse Project\u2019 with pupils from Orangefield Primary School, Belfast and \u2018Foundation\u2019, working with A-Level music students at the newly built Grosvenor Grammar School, Belfast. \u00a0 All of these new build construction projects have been completed by Patton.<\/p>\n<p>Patton Chairman, David Patton MBE concludes:\u00a0<em>\u201cThe Ulster Orchestra contributes in a huge way to the cultural life of Northern Ireland and we value our association with them. \u00a0 The team at the Orchestra strive for excellence, just as we do.
