Ballymena Borough Chamber of Commerce and Industry held its annual Christmas social\/networking event in the Adair Arms Hotel on 13th<\/sup>.December. There was an excellent turnout of Chamber members and guests.<\/p>\n

This is always an informal evening and Ronan McCann, Chamber President welcomed everyone.<\/p>\n

He then went on to present the trophies and certificates for the 2016 Christmas window dressing competition. The three prize winners were:<\/p>\n

Leaf Designs, Galgorm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tilly Anna\u2019s, Church Street<\/strong><\/p>\n

Willow Beauty, Broughshane Street<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ronan went on to say that the judges were very impressed with the high standard of the windows this year and that it had made their job very difficult. Because of this the judges also awarded two Highly Commended certificates:<\/p>\n

Ivory Grace Bridal Boutique, Galgorm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Midtown Makers Studio and Shop, Church Street\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Congratulations to all the winners!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

A presentation was also made to the NI Hospice. A raffle was held at the 2016 Business awards and an excellent \u00a33300 was raised. Chamber would like to thank the following businesses who donated prizes for the raffle: Michelin Tyre PLC, Galgorm Castle Golf Club, Galgorm Resort and Spa, Tullyglass House Hotel, Ballymena BID, Bank of Ireland, K & G McAtamney Butchers and Deli (Greenvale Street) and Go Sun Chinese Restaurant.<\/p>\n

Thank you to the Adair Arms Hotel \u2013 the hospitality as always was excellent.<\/p>\n
