COUNTY Antrim family business, McKeever Hotel Group has added to its portfolio of hotels with the acquisition of the Dunadry Hotel for an undisclosed sum.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The addition of this 80 bedroom hotel with health, leisure and spa facilities now brings the company\u2019s hotel collection to five as the McKeever Hotel Group successfully owns and operates; Corrs Corner Hotel, Newtownabbey; Dunsilly Hotel, Antrim; Adair Arms Hotel, Ballymena and Dillons Hotel, Letterkenny.<\/p>\n

It was bought from well known hotelier family, the Mooney Group, who has owned it since 1986.<\/p>\n

This expansion cements the Group\u2019s commitment to continued investment in the tourism and hospitality industry in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.<\/p>\n

Current bookings will NOT be affected and all employees will be retained. We are very much looking forward to working with the staff of the Dunadry Hotel and welcoming new customers as well as looking after the regular customers too.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The McKeever Hotel Group has been part of the tourism and hospitality market in Northern Ireland for nearly twenty five years and currently employs over 200 staff.\u00a0\u00a0 The mainstay of its market is the bar and restaurant trade, corporate market and leisure and tourism.\u00a0 The Group has plans to grow its accommodation, conference and banqueting business specifically targeting the tourism and corporate market.<\/p>\n
