Chamber Receive Grant Support
Ballymena Chamber is delighted to have been allocated a grant by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.
The grant a COVID-19 Community Recovery Grant of £1,000 was provided to enable Chamber to take on a project focusing on Marketing and increasing Chamber’s ‘footprint’ in the local area. Tom Wiggins, Chamber’s Business Development Manager said, ‘Chamber like every business has been badly affected by the current crisis, revenue is significantly down and we are only able to communicate digitally and remotely with our members and the wider business community. The award of the grant will allow Chamber to publicise the extensive work Chamber has undertaken and will undertake to support its members and to help sustain and develop the local economy. In addition to outlining what Chamber is doing the project will also allow us to better publicise our members products and services across a wide range of mediums. We want to show people that our businesses have faced the crisis and are now ready to bounce back as society returns closer to normality. With Council’s support we hope to see Chamber grow and provide even more support to our members whilst ensuring the wider community knows that Ballymena is ready to do business’.
